Today The Daughter’s assignment was to match a bunch of shoes that we found in the bedrooms – on the floor, in closets, under the bed. We now have a big box of everything from army-lite boots to summer wedges. We also have two shopping bags of shoes that were ready to be retired. I also didn’t realize until this week that my mother’s weight loss form the cancer has caused her feet to shrink. I just assumed that feet maintained their length.
