Our frig was full of berries over the last week. Late last week my uncle was in town from Baltimore. The daughter and I made an awesome blueberry crisp that night. We served a la mode with vanilla ice cream and homemade whip cream. Today for brunch, after church we made blackberry scones. The raw dough had this great color. It would have been good for pottery. We dolloped the scones with some leftover whip cream for the delicious afternoon treat.
PS: Maybe there is something to the 40 days time period. I finally feel as if I can see the light at the end of the cleaning tunnel.
